Proud parents Kelsi Balliache and Jacob Brewer of Nashville enjoyed the best kind of happy new year with the birth of their baby girl, Paisley, on Jan. 1. Their healthy daughter weighed in at 7 pounds, 12 ounces and measured 19 inches in length.
Paisley's parents chose The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center to deliver their first baby based on a decision to find a hospital offering the "best care and hospitality," according to Brewer.
“We chose a hospital further away from home, but it was worth it,” says Brewer. “Our expectations that were already so high were blown away. Every doctor, every nurse, all the way down to the housekeeping crew, were so truly caring. I will forever be grateful for the decision that we made choosing this birth center to have our beautiful baby girl.”
TriStar Hendersonville delivers more than 1,000 babies annually.
“Welcoming babies into the world is one of the greatest joys of working in maternity services,” says Jan Alexander, director of women’s services at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. “There is an extra sense of excitement and promise that comes with the delivery of the first baby of the New Year. The TriStar Hendersonville team is overjoyed to be a part of this family’s special day.”
