Tryout for Nashville SC’s Special Olympics Unified Team

Nashville SC’s Special Olympics Unified Team is holding tryouts for the 2026 season at the David Williams II Recreation & Wellness Center at Vanderbilt (2600 Children’s Way) on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Special Olympics Unified Team brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to promote social inclusion.

Nashville Soccer Club 2025 Special Olympics Unified Team Roster

Athletes and partners must be between 15-26 years of age when the season begins on February 13th, 2026 in order to participate this season. Players will be selected based on soccer skill level and cohesiveness with potential teammates.

The 2026 season will mark the fifth-straight season Nashville SC has partnered with Special Olympics Tennessee to field a Unified Team.

Nashville SC Unified team anticipates playing 3 matches in 2026: 1-2 home games in Nashville and 1-2 away games in another MLS city. Selected players should be able to commit to regular practices as well as a team Signing Day and the matches.
