The whole thing happens Tuesdays through Sundays\, Sept. 13 – Oct. 30\, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cost is $21-29 for adults who are not-yet members; $14-22 for youth who are not-yet members. DESCRIPTION:Tots and their guardians can enjoy drop-in style hands-on activities and storytime (10\, 10:45 and 11:30 a.m.) in the Bracken Foundation Children’s Garden at Cheekwood (1200 Forrest Park Drive\, Nashville) on Tuesdays and Saturdays\, June 10 – August 31\, and then Tuesdays through Saturday beginning Sept. 2\, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Plus\, join a member of the garden staff for a crowd favorite\, Turtle Talks\, as they feed the turtles and answer questions about the Children’s Garden’s shelled residents at 11:45 a.m. Each week’s theme is inspired by current exhibitions or seasonal festivals\, encouraging exploration of art and the natural world. DESCRIPTION:Cheekwood Harvest is here! Including fun activities and experiences for kids and families\, this six-week celebration makes for the perfect time to visit Cheekwood (1200 Forrest Park Drive\, Nashville). Highlights include the Pumpkin Village featuring three pumpkin houses\, a scarecrow trail\, more than 5\,000 chrysanthemums and a nine-foot-tall P’mumkin topiary made of orange mums arranged in the shape of a giant pumpkin. New this year\, the fun continues after dusk at Harvest NIGHTS on Thursdays throughout the festival. The whole thing happens Tuesdays through Sundays\, Sept. 13 – Oct. 30\, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Cost is $21-29 for adults who are not-yet members; $14-22 for youth who are not-yet members.
