SUMMARY:Music City Hot Chicken Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Music City Hot Chicken Festival returns to spice up Middle Tennessean’s Fourth of July festivities for its 20th year celebrating tastebud-titillating poultry and the people who love it. The festival takes place 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in East Park (700 Woodland St.\, Nashville) and admission is free for all ages. \n\nIt all kicks off at noon with the Fire Truck Parade. Visitors can enjoy Hot Chicken from Nashville’s best Hot Chicken establishments\, cold beer from Yazoo\, and other delicious edibles from local vendors. \nLive music from local bands keeps the “Nashville” vibe going all day long and visitors can look on while five teams try their hand at cooking up their version of Hot Chicken in the Amateur Cooking Competition. \nAll proceeds from the festival benefit the Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms. \nPlease note the following points for the Festival:\n\nAdmission is FREE to the Music City Hot Chicken Festival.\nBringing pets to the festival is NOT recommended.\nThe Festival is all-ages\, however a valid ID is required for all beer sales.\nNo outside coolers can be brought into the Festival grounds.\nNo tents can be brought into Festival grounds.\nRestrooms are located inside the East Park Community Center.\nWhile it is indeed the Hot Chicken Festival\, there are other edible options on site.\nWhile many vendors to accept credit cards\, some do not so there is an ATM available.\nSouvenirs are available for purchase\, yet many items are limited so don’t wait until the end to purchase yours!\nThe Hot Chicken Festival is a “Rain or Shine” event.\n\n  \n  \nMORE THINGS TO DO!
