DESCRIPTION:The annual candy trail is a favorite event sponsored by the city and includes games and a hike through the park to “trick or treat” from local organizations and businesses at Veterans Memorial Park (115 Floyd Mayfield Dr.\, La Vergne) from 12 – 3 p.m. They hand out everything from candy to goo-goo clusters and often have games set up for children to play. Plus\, join at Pavilion A for a Zombie Dance\, featuring family-friendly Halloween music the whole family can enjoy\, and a costume contest at 1:30 p.m.  Contest winners will be announced at 2 p.m.  Age groups are 4 & under\, 5 – 9 years old\, 10 – 14 years old\, and 15 & up.
