35TH ANNUAL PUMPKINFEST

More than 65,000 people descend upon the streets for Halloween-themed fun including costume contests, extreme pumpkin carving demonstrations, arts and crafts, live entertainment. The Kids’ Zone fills a city block with face painting, games, pony rides, inflatables and more.

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
American Girl Store, Franklin
Saturday, Oct. 27
Girls who come in costume will get a sweet treat and make a Halloween Boo Box craft.

EL DIA DE LOS MUERTOS
Cheekwood, Nashville
Saturday, Oct. 27
This Latin American “Day of the Dead” festival features traditional dance, colorful art activities, authentic food, altar displays and shopping in the marketplace. New this year: Middle and high school student groups will create chalk-based murals on site portraying aspects of the holiday.

NASHVILLE SYMPHONY’S FREE DAY OF MUSIC
Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Nashville
Saturday, Oct. 27
Enjoy 25 musical performances including the Nashville Symphony, Nashville Salsa Machine and more. There’s also an outdoor beer garden along with Halloween- and El Dia de los Muertos-themed activities including face painting and costume contests.
