Oh, yeah! We Tennesseans sure know how to illuminate the holidays! Find all kinds of displays — including area neighborhoods — in this festive collection.

It’s not the holidays without 2024-25 Christmas lights! Gather the family and check out all the amazing holiday light displays our region has to offer. Here’s our annual roundup to help fulfill all of your light-filled dreams — broken down below as drive-thrus, walking tours and special neighborhood displays.

2024 – 25 Christmas Lights: DRIVE-THRUS

Dancing Lights of Christmas

Now thru Jan. 4, 2025
nightly from 5 – 10 p.m. (5 – 11 p.m. on Fri-Sat)

James E Ward Agricultural Center: 945 E Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon (MAP)

Admission: $35 per vehicle (non commercial)
Highlights: Two-and-a-half million lights set to music on a driving route, Santa’s village and a live petting zoo!
Tips: Use the entrance across from Dollar General; expect longer wait times on Saturdays


Holiday Light Shows

Chad’s Winter Wonderland

Nov. 28 thru Dec. 31, 2024
nightly from 5 to 10 p.m.

791 E. Old Laguardo Rd., Lebanon (MAP)

Admission: $25 per car load (Takes credit or debit)
Highlights: New expansions this year: 12 acres, 2.8 million lights, live animals, drive through nativity scene
Tip: Bring your letter to Santa and drop in his special mailbox — he will be there every night!


Amazing Christmas Light Show in Franktown. You Can Drive Through, Walk or Both. - Mile High on the Cheap

FrankTown Festival of Lights

Now thru Dec. 31, 2024
nightly from 5 – 9 p.m.

Williamson County AG Expo Park: 4215 Long Lane #100, Franklin (MAP)

Admission: $34.69 per vehicle (plus a $4.69 fee)
Highlights: Thousands of sparkling lights coordinated to a radio station to be enjoyed from the comfort of your car.
Walkin’ Wednesdays: On Wednesdays Nov. 27 and Dec. 4, 11 and 18, park your car and walk the lighted route from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Finish the night by taking photos at the giant tree and making s’mores over the fire pit!


2024 Christmas Lights: WALKING TOURS

Holly Jolly Festival of Lights at Lucky Ladd Farms

Nov. 29 – Dec. 22, 2024
5 – 9 p.m.

4374 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville (MAP)

Highlights: Stroll the nearly mile-long trail of outdoor Christmas lights at Lucky Ladd Farms Wednesday through Sunday, Nov. 29 – Dec. 22, from 5 – 9 p.m. All ages can enjoy twinkling lights, a live nativity scene and holiday light displays with fun photo ops. Cost is $18.

 

2.3 million holiday lights flipped on at Gaylord Opryland

Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

Now thru Jan. 4, 2025
Starts at dusk

2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville (MAP)

Admission: Free (prices vary for other attractions)
Highlights: 3 million lights, towering Christmas trees and thousands of shimmering ornaments adorn the grand hotel. Plus, the longtime holiday tradition, ICE!, with a Frosty the Snowman theme.


Holiday LIGHTS at Cheekwood

Nov. 22 thru Jan. 5, 2025
nightly from 5 – 10 p.m.

1200 Forrest Park Drive, Nashville (MAP)

Admission: Adults: $26, Kids (3-7): $20, Children under 2 are free
Highlights: 2 million lights, a children’s wonderland, a live reindeer village, s’more pits
Tip: If you can wait until 8:30 p.m., tickets for adults drop to $20
What’s New? The Enchanted Esplanade is comprised of nine trees wrapped with programmed RGB string lights and ground effects along the path. The trees will show distinct colorful patterns in motion, while the ground effects will envelope the walk with shimmering waves of rainbow colors.


Zoolumination at Nashville Zoo

Now thru Jan. 5, 2025 (nightly);
then Jan. 9 to Feb. 9, 2025 (Thurs – Sun)
5 – 9 p.m.

3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville (MAP)

Admission: Tickets start at $25 for adults and $21 for ages 2 – 12 (parking is $10 for nonmembers)
Highlights: More than 500 custom-made silk lanterns spread across 60 acres, creating elaborate displays with some of your favorite Zoo animals, holiday-themed scenes and a 200-foot-long dragon. Enjoy live entertainment from Chinese acrobats and entertainers who will perform each night at 6, 7, and 8 p.m.
Tip: The North Pole Village (located in the barn behind the Zoo’s Historic Home) is set up with Santa’s workshop and includes holiday treats through Dec. 24. Meet Santa starting at 5:30 p.m. nightly.
New This Year! The Smashville Ice Rink presented by the Nashville Predators (an extra $10 for members; $12 for non-members)


Christmas on the Cumberland in Clarksville, TN - Tennessee Vacation

Christmas on the Cumberland

Admission: Free
Highlights: Two million lights lit up by the City of Clarksville. Frequent visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus
Tip: This year’s free family-friendly activities include holiday crafts and hot chocolate
New This Year: Visit with Santa in McGregor Park’s As the River Flows Museum!


Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas - Pigeon Forge, TN

Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood

Now thru Jan. 5, 2025
nightly from 2 to 9 p.m.

2700 Dollywood Parks Blvd., Pigeon Forge (MAP)

Admission: One-day passes start at $82
Highlights: Award-winning festival featuring lights, shows and much more
Tip: Every Friday and Saturday night, “Merry & Bright” fireworks will fill the sky set to Christmas tunes

Holiday Light Shows

Gill’s Bright Lights

Dec. 1 thru Dec. 31, 2025
nightly from 5 to 10:30 p.m.

Admission: Cash donations accepted for charity
Highlights: This year’s theme will bring 60,000 dancing lights moving to music in your car radio, a 20-ft. snowflake wall and 17-foot mega trees
Tip: Decorations are all homemade!


Music City Lights - YouTube

Music City Light Show

Typically runs Thanksgiving thru Dec. 31
nightly from 5 to 9 p.m.

5361 Skip Jack Drive, Antioch (MAP)

Admission: Free
Highlights: Holiday light show set to music on 90.1 FM
Tip: Located in the Lakeside Cove Subdivision off of Hobson Pike.


Lights on Luna

Typically runs Thanksgiving thru Dec. 31
nightly from 5 to 9 p.m.

176 Luna Lane, Hendersonville (MAP)

Admission: Free
Highlights: Dancing lights set to music
Tip: Park across the street in the church parking lot & make sure to turn your headlights off.

 


Winton’s Light Display

2025 dates TBD

55 Haskell Winton Road, Manchester (MAP)

Admission: Free, however guests are invited to bring a donation for a local charity
Highlights: Half a million lights that dance to music on 103.1 FM.
Tip: This display has been featured on national television and is considered a “must-see”

 


Hoover Lights

Nov. 29 – Dec. 31, 2025
nightly from 5 to 9 p.m.

1390 Neil Road, Chapel Hill (MAP)

Admission: Free, but donations to GraceWorks Ministries are encouraged
Highlights: Viewers can tune to the 107.1 FM and watch while the lights dance to music
Fun fact: Lights on Old Charlotte and Sparrow Street combine to make this new light display!


Cocoa in Cottontown

Typically runs in December
nightly from 5 to 9 p.m.

1437 Maxwell Branch Road, Cottontown (MAP)

Admission: Free
Highlights: A light show synchronized to music on 97.7 FM


Xlights TN

Now thru Jan. 1,  2025
nightly from 5 to 9 p.m.

535 Shute Lane, Hendersonville (MAP)

Highlights: 20 ft MegaTree with 4800 pixel lights. Entire display consists of over 10,000 programmed pixel lights
Tips: Tune to 87.9 FM when you arrive! Park in the grass if the driveway is full
