Bring your little diggers to Lucky Ladd's Kids' Construction Festival! Plus, Nashville SC's Kids Night; "Mother Goose" at NCT and lots more for the weekend ahead!

Don hard hats on and gear up for some big-time fun with some oversized toys!

Kids Construction Festival

Saturday, Aug. 29 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 30 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
General admission is $18

Bring the kids to Lucky Ladd Farms (4374 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville) to explore and climb on farm and construction equipment, hammer and drill at activity centers and more. A special construction site will be ready for exploration. Kids can climb on excavators, a bulldozer and lots of other farm and construction equipment. Plus, fun activity centers to practice skills of trade, life size Jenga games and giant Lincoln log building sets. All the farm’s standard attractions are also included.

Jump into the magical world of Mother Goose with your youngest learners as she takes little theater-goers through a silly version of her typical day. The show runs inside the Copeland Studio at Nashville Children’s Theatre (25 Middleton St., Nashville) and is recommended for ages 0 – 5.

Tickets start at $20

Nashville SC hosts Kids Night presented by Vanderbilt Health at GEODIS Park (501 Benton Ave., Nashville) as the team takes on FC Cincinnati. Kids can enjoy a special Nashville SC-branded squishy dumplin!

Register using your Community Pass via the Town of Smyrna for this overnight camping experience.

Smyrna Family Camp-Out

Saturday, Aug. 29 – Sunday, Aug. 30 ( 6 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.)
Registration required; cost is $10 per person

Join the Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center (SOAC) at Sharp Springs Park (1000 Espey Drive) for an overnight camping experience. Primitive campsites will be available for your family to set up a tent and sleeping bags. They’ll roast hot dogs and marshmallows over a campfire for dinner followed by stargazing and stories. Splash Days at Lucky Ladd are wrapping up this weekend — be sure to be a part of the fun!

Sunday, Aug. 30 |10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Timed-Entry Admission is $18 per person for ages 2 and older

Splash Days at Lucky Ladd Farms (4374 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville) wrap up this weekend. Zoom down giant inflatable water slides, get silly in a sea of bubbles at the Bubble Blast, splash around on the splash pad and more.


It’s the final weekend for Splash Days at the zoo and the theme is “Water Wars!”

Saturday, August 29 | 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
$16 – $26 for adults; $12 – $22 for youth ages 2 – 12

Head to Nashville Zoo (3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville) and the Festival Field for a water wonderland! Enjoy slip & slide fun, animal-themed sprinklers, a bubble zone and splash pools for littles. The theme for this Saturday is !

 


Baby goat cuddling is available at the farm every Saturday through Nov. 28 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 29 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Admission $12 per person. Children 2 and younger are free. 

Head to Noble Springs Dairy Farm (3144 Blazer Road, Franklin) to spend time kid goat cuddling and meeting other farm animals. You can pet and cuddle kid goats and enjoy spending time on the farm. Plus, plan on joining a guided educational tour at 11 a.m., if you’d like.

It’s the final season for the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium. Titan up!

NFL Preseason: Tennessee Titans vs. Chicago Bears

Cheer on the Tennessee Titans during the Farewell Season at the current Nissan Stadium (1 Titans Way, Nashville).  TITAN UP! The Titans will play the Chicago Bears.


Glow in the Park

Saturday, Aug. 29 | 6 – 10 p.m.

Zipline through trees lit up by glow attire and colored LED lights with music and more at The Adventure Park at Nashville (801 Percy Warner Blvd., Nashville). Your ticket includes 30 minutes for a safety briefing. Designed for ages 7 and older.
