2025 Christmas Parades in Middle Tennessee:
Bellevue
Saturday, Dec. 6
The second annual ” Holidays in the Vue” Christmas parade kicks off at 10 a.m. at Bellevue Middle School, weaving from Colice Jeanne Road onto Highway 70 S with a right on Sawyer Brown Road and ending in One Bellevue Place. This is a free, festive and inclusive event that will include floats, vehicles, walking groups and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
College Grove
Sunday, Dec. 7
The annual College Grove Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 1st. The parade route begins at 6600 Depot Street at 2p.m. Always held on the first Sunday of December, families, friends, and visitors are once again invited to gather along the route to enjoy the festive floats, music, candy and seasonal decorations.
Franklin
Saturday, Dec. 6
The Franklin Christmas Parade is always held on the first Saturday in December. Winding through the streets of downtown Franklin, the parade is a celebration of the holidays and the official welcome of Santa Claus to Franklin from 1 – 4 p.m. This year’s theme is “’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
Donelson Hermitage
Saturday, Dec. 6
The 40th annual Donelson Hermitage Christmas Parade will feature festive floats, marching bands, community groups and, of course, a special appearance from Santa himself!. This year’s theme is “Light Up the Night!” The parade starts at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Elm Hill Pk and Donelson Pk, marching North on Donelson Pk into the Donelson Station WeGo Star/RTA parking lot (behind Fifty Forward).
Gallatin
Saturday, Dec. 13
Come enjoy this great Gallatin Tradition with your entire family. The parade kicks off at 12 p.m. and will end with Santa Claus kicking off the holiday season! The parade kicks off from Steam Plant Road to Hartsville Pike, down Main Street, down Broadway and ends at the Gallatin High School (700 Dan P Herron Drive, Gallatin).
Goodlettsville
Saturday, Dec. 6
The annual Goodlettsville Christmas Parade will take place at 4 p.m. This year’s theme is “Candy Land.” The parade begins at the Delmas Long Community Center (200 Memorial Drive) and continues up Memorial Drive, taking a right onto Main Street and ending at the Goodlettsville Plaza (Rivergate Parkway).
Hendersonville
Sunday, Dec. 7
Smile and wave as your whole family enjoys a parade of marching bands, horse drawn floats, entertainers and, of course, Santa himself. The parade makes its way down Main street beginning at 2 p.m. The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will follow at Memorial Park (151 E Main St., Hendersonville) at 4:30 p.m.
La Vergne
Saturday, Dec. 6
The 15th annual Parade of Lights returns at 5 p.m. The parade begins at City Hall and ends at Veterans Memorial Park (115 Floyd Mayfield Drive, La Vergne), where the tree lighting ceremony and fireworks show will take place. This year’s theme is “T’was the Night Before Christmas.” Following the parade, there will be Christmas carols, snacks and pictures with Santa from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Leiper’s Fork
Saturday, Dec. 13
The annual Christmas Parade held in Leiper’s Fork takes place on the the second Saturday of December at 2 p.m. Arrive early as there is only one road thru the village and it will be closed at 1:50 p.m.
Mt. Juliet
Saturday, Dec. 13
This year’s Mt. Juliet Christmas Parade kicks off at 11 a.m. along a new route. It will start at the same starting point — West Wilson Middle School — before heading north on Mt. Juliet Road. It will end at E. Division Street where Veteran’s Park is located.
Murfreesboro
Sunday, Dec. 14
Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season at the annual Murfreesboro Christmas Parade with this year’s theme, “A Sweet Christmas.” Floats, musical acts and, of course, Santa and his sleigh will travel down Main Street beginning at MTSU at 2 p.m. and ending at the Historic Downtown Square at 4 p.m.
Portland
Saturday, Dec. 6
Main Street activities in downtown Portland begin at 3 p.m., including food vendors, live music, cookie decorating, visit with Santa and the City’s tree lighting (after the parade)! The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Freedom Drive and travels south on Highway 109 to Portland East Middle School. This year’s theme is “Candy Cane Lane.”
Smyrna
Sunday, Dec. 7
The 50th annual Town of Smyrna Christmas Parade and Food Drive starts at Smyrna Town Hall (315 South Lowry Street, Smyrna) at 2 p.m. Spectators will gather to watch floats, bands, classic cars, dancers and Santa and Mrs. Claus as they travel northbound on Lowry Street toward Sam Ridley Parkway.
Spring Hill
Saturday, Dec. 13
Join for the annual Spring Hill Christmas Parade, a festive event that brings the community together to celebrate the holiday season! The 2025 parade will start at 5 p.m. at Evans Park and continue onto Main Street (U.S. 31) before ending at Harvey Park. Don’t forget to dress warmly and bring your holiday spirit!
Watertown
Saturday, Dec. 6
The annual Watertown Christmas parade kicks off at Round Lick Church (745 W Main St., Watertown) at 3 p.m. After the parade, enjoy Santa in the Gazebo, Christmas tree lighting happens on the square at 5:30 p.m. with cocoa, caroling and live music.
Westmoreland
Saturday, Dec. 6
This year’s Christmas parade (with a “Whoville” theme) begins at Westmoreland Middle School (4128 Hawkins Dr., Westmoreland) around 2:30 p.m. and concludes in Downtown Westmoreland around 4 p.m.
White House
Saturday, Dec. 6
The annual White House Christmas Parade returns from 3 – 6 p.m. with a “Deck the Decades” theme! Activities include refreshments, live music from local choirs, library open house, free photos with Santa, tree lighting ceremony and more. The parade will leave White House Municipal Park on Highway 76 and head East towards City Hall, turning South onto Highway 31W and ending at the intersection of West Drive and Highway 31W where floats will disperse.
