Start the school year off strong! Medical experts, local school representatives and first responders from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office have teamed up for the upcoming “Back to School Bash” event on Saturday, August 8 at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic’s newest location on Lascassas Pike.

The event begins at 9 a.m. and wraps up at 12 noon.
This free, family-friendly event is designed to help local students and their parents prepare for the upcoming academic year with school supply giveaways, yummy treats, interactive activities such as a “build-your-own boo-boo kit” and more. Students may even walk away with a free backpack, while supplies last. Parents looking for a pediatrician will also have an opportunity to meet several MMC pediatricians at the event.
In addition, Deputy Laura Kuntz with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office will bring vital attention to the day by addressing the complexities of modern child safety seat installation.
