Assembly Food Hall is transporting the spirit of New Orleans to downtown for Mardi Gras in Nashville. The massive entertainment and dining destination located at Fifth + Broadway, will hold its first Mardi Gras celebration on Feb. 26, the Saturday before Fat Tuesday. The event transports Bourbon Street to Broadway with celebrations all throughout Assembly Food Hall, including Skydeck on Broadway, Nashville’s largest rooftop.
Visitors to Skydeck will be immersed into the New Orleans culture. There will be live jazz music on Skydeck from Righteous Few Brass Band, followed by a headlining performance from Roland Barber & Friends.
“You don’t need to go to New Orleans to celebrate Mardi Gras. You can savor the sights, sounds and creole cuisine of the Big Easy right here in downtown Nashville,” said Cari Hallman, director of marketing for The Food Hall Co., Assembly Food Hall’s parent company. “This is the first year for Assembly Food Hall to celebrate Mardi Gras in Music City, and we are pulling out all of the stops. From Nashville’s largest rooftop, Skydeck on Broadway will transport you to Bourbon Street.”

A costume contest kicks off at 4:30 p.m., so guests are encouraged to throw on their beads, accessories and Mardi Gras colors for a chance to win big prizes. Guests who are brave enough can also have their fortune read from the complementary Tarot Card reader.
