Before you know it comes October and that means you need to book fall break camps for kids now if you’ll be staying in town. Fall break has a way of creeping up on families and what to do with kids during the day becomes a real issue. Luckily, there are lots of camps available come October, among them Fall Break Camp at the Adventure Science Center.
Fall & Winter Break Camps for Kids
Here’s what Adventure Science Center has in store:
Fall Break Camps “Space”
Dates: Monday, October 7 – Friday, October 11
Time: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Ages: K – 6 Graders
Cost: $399 a person (Before- or After- Care is for an additional fee)
Campers will dig into the science of astronomy through hands-on simulations and activities. They will make rovers, launch rockets and see a planetarium show in the 63-foot dome theater.
Winter Break Camps “Tech the Halls”
Winter Break Camp
Dates: Monday, December 30 – Friday, January 3
Time: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Ages: K-6 Graders
Cost: $399 a person (Before- or After- Care is for an additional fee)Before- or After- Care is for an additional fee
Campers will take electronics apart and make crafts that move, light up and make sound, all while learning the basics of coding, electrical components and how things work.
