Brand New Streets of Indian Lake Opens June 13

Hendersonville's signature shopping and entertainment center gets an upgrade with grand re-opening festivities happening on Thursday, June 13.

Experience a new contemporary environment as it unfolds this month at the newly renamed Streets of Indian Lake Lifestyle Center. The Streets celebrates a brand-new updated plaza, complete with a lawn, fountain, trees and benches. The area serves as a relaxing space to gather while also hosting events throughout the year.

The first outing your family can experience there is the Plaza Grand Reveal Extravaganza on Thursday, June 13 from 4 – 7 p.m. The dual duty happening consists of a ribbon cutting for the plaza while hosting the City of Hendersonville’s 50th Anniversary Tribute.

The free event features several activities, including live music by gospel singer Wess Morgan and Goddard School of Hendersonville students. Have fun dancing to the beats of the Erik Blue Band, too. Children’s festivities include trackless train rides, a magic show, fairy-tale characters, balloon animals, face painting and lawn games.

The event also includes a silent auction and photos with Mike Huckabee. Proceeds benefit Play It Again Instruments, an organization that raises funds for the Sumner County Board of Education to help buy musical instruments for children who would have no access to them otherwise.

While you're there, stop by Sumner Parent's booth and register to win a $352 prize pack of attraction tickets (four each) to Nashville Zoo, Adventure Science Center, Lucky Ladd Farms and Beech Bend Amusement Park & Splash Lagoon.

The Streets of Indian Lake Lifestyle Center is located at 300 Indian Lake Blvd., Hendersonville. Visit streetsofindianlake.com.
