A number of parades and ceremonies are planned around Middle Tennessee for the second weekend in November as the nation honors those who have served in the armed forces.
2023 Veterans Day Events in Middle Tennessee
Hendersonville Veterans Day Parade
Sunday, November 5, 2023 starts at 2 p.m.
Come out and celebrate Veterans from all conflicts with a parade in Hendersonville. The route will follow the traditional Hendersonville parade route, starting at Cherokee Rd. and move along Main to Executive Park Dr.
Franklin Veterans Parade
November 10, 2023 starts at 11 a.m.
The City of Franklin will remember and honor all veterans at its Veterans’ Day Parade being held in Downtown Franklin on November 10, 2023, at 11 a.m. The parade is a joint effort of the City and local radio station WAKM AM-950. The parade route travels down Main Street, from Five Points to Second Avenue. JROTC units and/or marching bands from Williamson County high schools will participate. The Franklin Special School District will also send a large group of students to show their appreciation to veterans. The Parade begins promptly at 11:00 a.m. at West Main and Fifth Avenue. Prior to the parade, a reception will be held at the Williamson County Archives from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. for local veterans and their families.
Operation Song at the Country Music Hall of Fame
Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 2 p.m.
Come hear songs written and performed by veterans through Operation Song at the Country Music Hall of Fame for its Veterans Day Celebration. Hear the stories of veterans as they have written them to music and support and empower them here locally. The event takes place from 2 to 3 p.m. and is open to the public.
Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade
Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10 a.m.
The Clarksville-Montgomery County Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11, with pre-parade ceremonies set for 9 a.m. in front of the historic courthouse (south side) on Third Street in downtown Clarksville. Keynote speaker is Air Force Master Sergeant (Ret) Joe Thomas, Jr. The Parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of N. Eighth and College Streets, next to the Sundquist Science Building at Austin Peay State University, with the reviewing stand at the Third Street side of the courthouse. The parade will proceed from College left onto University Avenue, right onto Main Street, left onto 3rd Street, left onto Commerce Street, left onto University Avenue, right onto Franklin Street, left onto 8th Street and back to the APSU parking area.
Clarksville Veterans Day Variety Show
Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 7 p.m.
This Veterans Day, prepare to be amazed by an extraordinary evening filled with jaw-dropping illusions, laughter-inducing comedy, and mind-boggling juggling acts, all in honor of our brave service members. Host Jeff Bornstein is bringing together an incredible lineup of world-class performers for the Veterans Day Variety Show at the Roxy Regional Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7 p.m., with free admission for active-duty military and veterans. Tickets are $25.

Veterans Day Ceremony in La Vergne
November 11, 2023 at 11 a.m.
In honor of the Veterans who have served in the armed forces, the City of La Vergne will be holding its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11 at La Vergne City Hall, 5093 Murfreesboro Road. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. Our Guest Speakers this year will be announced at a later date. Please join us and spend some time honoring and thanking military veterans.
Wilson County Veterans Day
November 11, 2023 at 10 a.m.
