Costco Eyes Hendersonville Location

Costco has applied to build on property near Hendersonville hospital.

Will a Costco in Hendersonville become a reality? On January 31, the retail giant Costco submitted a final master development plan to the Hendersonville planning office.

The plan includes a wholesale club and fuel center near Vietnam Veterans Boulevard and New Shackle Island Road (see the image below).

“Costco has applied to build on property between Forest Retreat Road and Vietnam Veterans Boulevard near Hendersonville hospital,” Mayor Jamie Clary announced on Facebook. “The application, technically a final development plan with defined uses, will be considered by the city’s planning commission on March 1 at City Hall.”
Hendersonville residents are excited. Residents love Costco because they have organic produce, wild fish, organic meats and chicken, organic coffee, favorite mom-and-pop brands. toilet paper, and even books where kids can browse while parents shop. The store is super organized and the employees are so friendly. There’s no reason to go anywhere else when Costco is a one-stop shop
