Murfreesboro is about to get a lot sweeter when Crumbl Cookies open over near The Avenue. Owner Ron Fausnaught and his wife and five grown kids bring the loved and trusted cookies of Utah all the way over to Tennessee. He first moved to the area in 2002 from California.
“I wanted to open a family business that I could pass down to my kids,” says Fausnaught. “And this will be the first Crumbl Cookies east of the Mississippi River, too!”
He and his family own and operate the new store, which is set to open Wednesday, April 17. But, the big news is the FREE chocolate chip cookie you can get on Friday, April 19. As part of the grand opening, Fausnaught says his goal is to give away 3,000 cookies on this day. One chocolate chip cookie per person with no purchase necessary! He’s sure you’re gonna love it and wanna come back for more.
Why? Because this shop doesn’t offer plain ole cookies. These gourmet cookies can weigh up to 5.5 ounces, depending upon the flavor and the toppings it comes with. The two main staples that will remain on the menu are the Warm Chocolate Chip and the Chilled Sugar cookies. Come back week after week to taste one of four different cookies of the week. They rotate four out of 50 different flavors each week at all the stores. Flavors like Rocky Road, Nutella Sea Salt, Funfetti and Peanut Butter & Jelly are sure to delight all ages.
Cookies are $3 for one, $10 for four, $25 for 12. Download the app and order online, too — they also deliver up until midnight! The delivery area is only a three-mile radius from the store because the cookies come warm to your door. Later down the road, they plan to offer ice cream with delivery, too.
Don’t forget to sign up for the rewards program while you’re at the store. For every $1 spent, you get one star — 90 stars gets you four cookies, too!
