Dinosaur Fun: Events and Go-Sees!

From Dinosaur Adventures to Jurassic World LIVE and more, January is a roaring good time for dino-lovers.

Several goings on bring dinosaur fun to families this month. Here’s what to know:

Dinosaur Fun This Month

DINO HALL ONGOING at Discovery Park of America
Kids admission is free for the month of January!
830 Everett Blvd., Union City, TN 

Located three hours north west of Nashville, the Discovery Park of America has Dino Hall where kids can see large fossil reproductions of dinosaurs and marine reptiles. Dinos on display include a Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Apatasaurus and Appalachiosaurus. Note: these are reproductions!

JURASSIC WORLD LIVE.  JAN. 26 – 28
Tickets: $33.45 – $97.80

Bridgestone Arena, 501 Broadway, Nashville
This live arena show lets the audience join forces with a team of scientists in an effort to save a dinosaur from a terrible fate. Dinosaurs move through animatronics (for the big dinos) and via live acting (for smaller dinos). The show is just short of two hours with a 20 minute intermission.

Little dino-lovers can enjoy the toddler play area and the Jurassic Soft Play area, both dino-themed. You can also find fun dino souvenirs in the gift shop.

See and touch dinosaur bones, see a working palentology laboratory where real dinosaur bones are cleaned and repaired; see Frank, the resident 38-foot-long T. Rex skeleton; enjoy dino souvenirs in the gift shop and more.
