Overbrook Catholic School, located on 83 acres in the heart of Nashville, is a co-educational, private, independent Catholic school for preschool – sixth-grade students. OCS offers an education in truth and virtue where the dignity of each human person made in the image of God is at the center of all we do.
Courses are academically rigorous, yet developmentally appropriate to foster a child’s ability to think and communicate. Nashville’s premier preschool, Overbrook Catholic School utilizes a Montessori-based, hybrid approach for the youngest students to be prepared for Kindergarten. As students enter grade school, they are reading at an early age, engaging in STEM projects, excelling at higher-level math classes, receiving sacramental preparation, participating in weekly Mass, and conducting service projects. Each grade level has a signature STEM project, including tapping maple trees and caring for sheep at Beyond the Brook Farm, OSC's working mini-farm.
Students excel in academics, participate in 15 athletic teams, and conduct service projects.
