Youngsters in Sumner County have a new place to grow with the recent opening of Enchanté Child Development Center. Enchanté provides a Reggio Emilia-inspired learning environment for ages 6 weeks – 5 years. The center is now accepting applications.
THE REGGIO EMILIA PHILOSOPHY
A Reggio Emilia approach is an educational philosophy focusing on preschool and primary education. It utilizes self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. The program works with principles of respect, responsibility and community through exploration and discovery through a self-guided curriculum.
RIBBON CUTTING, OPEN HOUSE & MORE
Enchanté Child Development Center hosts its official ribbon cutting and open house on Friday, Dec. 21 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tour the facility, meet the staff and enjoy refreshments. Located at 1181 Nashville Pike in Gallatin, the center's hours are Mon – Fri 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. The center follows the Sumner County District school calendar.
