Fall Break Family Days at Belle Meade

Bring the kids to Belle Meade (5025 Harding Pike, Nashville) for a week of fall crafts, science experiments and seasonal fun on Monday, Oct. 12 through Friday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A new theme every day — Leaf Day, Fall Vegetable Day, Apple Day, Fall Animals Day and Halloween Day — plus a daily scavenger hunt, coloring station, reading nook, and popcorn and lemonade. Cost is $12 for ages 5 and older; $18 for adults.
Daily Themes
- Monday, Oct. 12 — Leaf Day. Baking soda painted leaves, DIY paper leaf garlands, magnolia leaf painting, and leaf people.
- Tuesday, Oct. 13 — Fall Vegetable Day. A dissolving candy pumpkin experiment, pumpkin twister, pumpkin salt art, and Q-tip corn painting.
- Wednesday, Oct. 14 — Apple Day. Apple life cycle and apple core crafts, fall-scented playdough, and a make-your-own apple pie sensory bin.
- Thursday, Oct. 15 — Fall Animals Day. Paper bag owls, squirrel and acorn sewing cards, build-your-own fox, and a hedgehog science experiment.
- Friday, Oct. 16 — Halloween Day. Paper bag cats, Halloween postcards, flying paper cup witches, and candy corn people.
