Goblins and Goodies in La Vergne

The annual candy trail is a favorite event sponsored by the city and includes games and a hike through the park to “trick or treat” from local organizations and businesses at Veterans Memorial Park (115 Floyd Mayfield Dr., La Vergne) from 12 – 3 p.m. They hand out everything from candy to goo-goo clusters and often have games set up for children to play. Plus, join at Pavilion A for a Zombie Dance, featuring family-friendly Halloween music the whole family can enjoy, and a costume contest at 1:30 p.m. Contest winners will be announced at 2 p.m. Age groups are 4 & under, 5 – 9 years old, 10 – 14 years old, and 15 & up. Gift cards will go to 1st ($75), 2nd ($50), and 3rd ($25) place winners.
