Workers from the department will be on call on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 to perform routine “checkups” on all kinds of stuffed animals during the zoo’s walkthrough experience from 9:15 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event takes place inside the HCA Healthcare Veterinary Center at Nashville Zoo (3777 Nolensville Pike, Nashville). Kids’ stuffed friends can get a thorough examination and receive a certificate of “Beary Good Health.” In addition, kids can enjoy hands-on learning activities and a photo booth. Cost is $10 per child plus cost of Zoo admission.
