Who’s feeling spooky? Wynnewood State Historic Site (210 Old Hwy 25, Castalian Springs, TN 37031) will host Murder, Medicine, & Mourning on Saturday, October 11 at 6 p.m.!
Visitors will see Wynnewood set for mourning, hear about Victorian mourning customs and learn about the many untimely deaths of the Wynne family.
Follow your guide down to Bledsoe’s Lick, where you will explore by lanternlight and hear about the most infamous murders on the Lick! If you can stomach it, go visit the doctor and learn about the weird and gruesome practices of Victorian-era medicine.
