Is your family a fan of comics, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, steampunk, 2D and 3D art, gaming, writing or cosplay? Hypericon, a summer convention celebrating fandoms of all kinds, takes over Murfreesboro July 5 – 7. The event features more than 120 hours of programming, a premium ConSuite, guests and speakers, and more. Kids are sure to love the assortment of character meet and greets, and they can enter the cosplay costume contest, too.
Tickets are $20 – $120 with single-day and weekend passes available, free ages 6 and younger. Separate tickets are required for the Escape Game – Double Cross. Dressing up? Refrain from horror/gory cosplays during the day on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. during kids’ events. Visit the website for detailed event schedules.
It takes place at Clarion Inn (2227 Old Fort Pkwy., Murfreesboro). Visit hypericon.net for more information.
