Downtown Nashville
“Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th” in downtown Nashville begins with the opening of the AMAZON FAMILY FUN ZONE at Music City Walk of Fame Park at 12 noon. is a free, family-friendly event at the downtown riverfront in Nashville. Music City July 4th’s main show opens at Jack Daniel’s Broadway Stage at 4:50 p.m. with welcome remarks, Color Guard and the National Anthem. Musical performances happen from 5:40 – 9:20 p.m. with headliner Dierks Bentley and others. The fireworks are slated bo begin at 9:30 p.m. with music synchronized to the Grammy-Award-winning Nashville Symphony playing from the Ascend Amphitheater Stage. Get more info here.

Enjoy live music, food trucks, inflatables and more activities from 5 – 9 p.m. at Lee Victory Recreation Park (110 Sam Ridley Pkwy., Smyrna) for the annual Smyrna Independence Day Celebration. Park at the Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center next door and enjoy more outdoor activities. The annual fireworks show begins at dark.

Springfield: Freedom Fest

Robertson County Fairgrounds

This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. In addition to live music, Freedom Fest features carnival rides, inflatables, and local vendors. Food and beverages will be available from food vendors. The evening wraps with the city’s fireworks display around 9:30 p.m. Free parking is available at Legion Park.

Fairview: July 3rd Celebration

This year’s festivities will feature live music, food and family fun, all leading up to a fireworks show. Performances begin at 4 p.m. with local singer-songwriter Brian Rhea, followed by country/rock artist Kolby Oakley. Headlining the night is Rubiks Groove, bringing hits from the 1980s and 90s. Multiple food trucks will be on site, plus activities for the kids and free giveaways. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and admission is free.
Goodlettsville: Independence Day Celebration

The City of Goodlettsville will celebrate Independence Day from 4 – 9:30 p.m. in Moss-Wright Park (745 Caldwell Lane, Goodlettsville). A Kids Zone includes inflatables, games and fireman’s foam. Food vendors will be available.

Hendersonville: Freedom Festival

Drakes Creek Park
120 East Main Street, Hendersonville
The celebration happens from 5 – 10 p.m. at Drakes Creek Park and Athletic Complex (131 Conway Twitty Lane, Hendersonville). A variety of food will be available plus a Kids Zone and live entertainment featuring local acts leading up to the main performance (L ’80’s Nite) at 7 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

Franklin: 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

After Franklin on the Fourth earlier in the day, enjoy the fireworks at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm (239 Franklin Road, Franklin). There will be live music, food trucks, a kids zone featuring games and crafts and more. The Park opens at 5 p.m. Live music will be provided from 6 – 9 p.m. Food trucks will be on site and the concession stand at the Tractor Supply Co. Arena will be open for beer and wine sales.

Gallatin: Fourth of July Celebration

Bring the whole family out to Triple Creek Park (240 Champion Dr., Gallatin) for a fun day celebrating the Fourth of July beginning at 5 p.m. Enjoy a foam party provided by the Gallatin Fire Department, multiple food trucks and end the night with a fireworks show!

Brentwood: Red, White and Boom

Come out to the annual Independence Day Celebration at the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater in Crockett Park (1500 Volunteer Pkwy., Brentwood) from 7 – 10 p.m. The Downtown Band takes the stage before the fireworks start at 9 p.m. Various food trucks will be on hand. Bring blankets and chairs.

La Vergne: Independence Day Celebration

This free event includes fireworks, live music, food vendors and activities for families from 6 – 9 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park (115 Floyd Mayfield Drive, La Vergne). Gates open at 6 p.m., music starts at 6:30 p.m. Bring blankets and lawn chairs, as well as picnic dinners, or choose bites from local food vendors.

Murfreesboro: Celebration Under the Stars

Murfreesboro residents can enjoy fireworks and music for the July 4 at the Fountains at Gateway (1500 Medical Center Pkwy., Murfreesboro). Bring lawn chairs and blankets for picnicking on the grass with a live DJ beginning at 4:30 p.m. Live music featuring Derrick Dove and the Peacemakers will begin at 7:30 p.m. from the Fountains Stage.
