Freedom Fest Returns to Drakes Creek Park on July 3

Hendersonville’s Freedom Festival will return to Drakes Creek Park this July 3 from 6 – 9 p.m.

The annual pre-Independence Day celebration is the city’s largest event — hosted by the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce and presented by Re/Max Choice Properties.

The annual fireworks display starts at 9 p.m. The Chamber will be partnering with WHIN Radio to broadcast the music orchestrated with the fireworks for those watching the fireworks outside of the park. There will also be live entertainment from fesitval favorite, the Garage Band Revival.

The event will be a little different this year with the elimination of the Kids Zone, an area of inflatables for children. In addition, vendor booths and food trucks will be spaced further apart and a new area will be open for viewing the band and fireworks on the baseball field.
