Frontier Camp Returns to Rock Castle

Frontier Camp takes campers 8 – 12 years old back in time to live the life of a frontiersman/frontierswoman like Daniel & Sarah Smith, the founders of Rock Castle. The camp takes place June 13 – 16 daily from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Historic Rock Castle (located at 139 Rockcastle Ln, Hendersonville).

Campers will learn frontier skills such as building a fire from scratch, knot tying, survival fishing and trapping, primitive shelter building, orienteering, target shooting, paddling and more!

Cost: is $175 for the first camper, $165 for each additional. For more information on Frontier Camp, visit the Historic Rock Castle website here.

*Please note: campers will likely be kayaking/swimming in the Rock Castle cove each day (weather permitting). A lifeguard will be on duty at this time, and Rock Castle staff will be in the water with the campers at all times. Life vests will be absolutely required.
