General Jackson Showboat Unveils New Football Experience

This year, fans can trade the parking lot for the riverfront and enjoy football, food and entertainment aboard the General Jackson Showboat.

The General Jackson Showboat is redefining game day with a new Tailgate Cruise series. This season, fans can trade the parking lot for the riverfront and enjoy a dynamic blend of football, food and entertainment aboard the city’s beloved aquatic attraction.

The Tailgate Cruises will take place on September 21, November 16, and December 28, 2025. Boarding begins at 8:45 a.m. CT at the General Jackson Showboat dock, with departure scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Guests will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast while cruising toward downtown, followed by delectable desserts on the return trip.

Entertainment will be in full swing with a live DJ on the top deck to energize the crowd before kickoff and keep the party going after the final whistle. A large screen onboard will stream pregame coverage as well as the featured afternoon game. No game ticket is required to enjoy the cruise and watch the game onboard.

The showboat will dock at East Bank Landing by 11 a.m., just steps from Nissan Stadium. Guests have the flexibility to stay on the boat during the game or return at any time before it ends.

Following the game, departure from East Bank Landing will be precisely 30 minutes after the final whistle, giving fans time to celebrate in style as they cruise back to the showboat’s dock.

Tickets for the lively Tailgate Cruises are on sale now. For more information and to reserve tickets, visit www.GeneralJackson.com.
