Where Every Family Matters

History’s Alive at Night at the Museum

Join the Sumner County Museum for an evening where history truly comes alive.

Night at the Museum returns for its 4th year at the Sumner County Museum on Saturday, February 7, offering guests four unique tour times to experience history like never before.

Throughout the galleries, over a dozen costumed interpreters will bring exhibits to life, sharing fascinating stories and unique insights into Sumner County’s past.

Hear the gripping story of a POW’s daring escape from a German prison camp, listen to the adventures of a frontier fur trader, meet Miss Tennessee, swap stories of moonshine and mountains while sampling the museum’s moonshiner’s newest batch, hear heroic tales of battling blazes on Main Street and visit with a pharmacist to explore the world of vintage medicine.

Tours will be at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30, and 7:30 p.m. Limited spots available for each. Each ticket includes a snack and a beverage.
