Nashville families looking to kick off the holiday season with a little extra sparkle will have another festive option to add to their calendar: POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance is returning to Gaylord Opryland Resort for the 43rd annual A Country Christmas celebration. The dazzling live production runs Nov. 24 through Dec. 31, 2026, bringing a cast of 27 performers, more than 100 costumes and wigs, gravity-defying circus acts, magical illusions and plenty of holiday wonder to the Tennessee Ballroom Theater.
Created by Broadway director and producer Neil Goldberg, POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance follows best friends Pomp, Snow and Cirqueumstance as they embark on a magical adventure at a secret university devoted to music, magic and circus arts. Along the way, they discover the importance of friendship, celebrating what makes each person unique and sharing the spirit of the season.
A Bigger-Than-Life Holiday Experience
For families, the experience begins before the curtain even rises. Wander with the kids through the POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance Universe, an interactive holiday wonderland filled with twinkling lights, whimsical decorations, storybook characters and surprise pop-up performances. Expect larger-than-life holiday sights, including glistening reindeer, giant candy canes, towering nutcrackers and an impressive 18-foot gingerbread man — because of course Nashville needs a gingerbread man that big!
Inside the theater, the production will surround the audiences with larger-than-life storybook illustrations designed to make you feel as though they have stepped right into the pages of the beloved POMP, SNOW & CIRQUEumstance books. The show builds to a festive finale featuring a very special appearance by Santa himself.
The production returns to Gaylord Opryland following its inaugural Nashville season. Last year’s show earned a 2026 Telly Award for Best Immersive Holiday Show, recognizing its storytelling and production design.
The cirque experience joins Gaylord Opryland’s packed lineup of seasonal attractions, including the resort’s signature ICE! attraction (this year’s theme is Home Alone, opening Nov. 6) giving your family another reason to make a holiday outing of their visit. Tickets are on sale now.
