Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari

Holiday World, the holiday-themed amusement park (oldest in the nation!) located in Santa Claus, Indiana, is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Nashville. Lots of families make the road trip each summer. All tickets provide admission to both parks, widely recognized for friendliness, cleanliness, and top-ranked rides. All guests receive free parking, free sunscreen and free soft drinks.

Ever zipped through a cranberry can? You can on Good Gravy! the newest coaster to open this season at Holiday World!

New This Season: Good Gravy!

Plus there’s always something new at Holiday World. This year brings the launch of a family boomerang coaster, Good Gravy!, located in the Thanksgiving section of the park. According to a press release, “guests will board a train shaped like a giant gravy boat, which will be pulled backwards uphill before flying forwards through the station onto cranberry-colored track, hitting a maximum speed of 37 miles per hour.”  Next, the train will fly through a giant cranberry jelly can before passing a 20-foot-tall whisk and an 18-foot-tall rolling pin. The ride reverses for the return trip for nearly 1,500 feet of fun.
