Hot Air Balloons To Color the Sky at Sumner Fest

Sumner County’s hot air balloon festival will light up the Hendersonville sky on Saturday, Aug. 5.

Sumner Fest, Sumner County’s premier hot air balloon festival, is set to illuminate the Hendersonville skies on Saturday, August 5 from 4 – 9 p.m. Hendersonville’s Sanders Ferry Park will ignite as the idyllic backdrop for this celebration filled with food, fun and non-stop entertainment.

Bring lawn chairs/blankets to watch the hot air balloons take off and enjoy their beautiful glow coloring the sky and providing aerial views of the surroundings. In addition, there will be tethered hot air balloon rides available for interested kids and families.

The entertainment stage will echo live music across Old Hickory Lake and the lively Kid Zone will keep little ones joy-filled until the sun goes down. Dozens of merchant vendors will also be showcasing their goods and food vendors galore will be tempting your taste buds.
