Light Up the Night & Support CAC

This annual event at Oaklands Mansion sheds light on child abuse brings awareness to the help that's available to those who need it most.

Light Up the Night Benefit for CAC

Child abuse is making headlines more and more each day. Help shed light on the subject and join the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) for the party of the season during Light Up the Night. The party takes place Friday, Sept. 6 from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Oaklands Mansion (900 North Maney Ave., Murfreesboro). The lawn of the historic mansion lights up with lights and visitors. Wear as much white as you can to make things even brighter! Get your picture taken and dance the night away. Light appetizers and drinks are complimentary with your ticket purchase. Tickets cost $75 per person or $140 per couple. Learn more about the event at cacrutherford.org. Get your tickets at eventbrite.com.

More About the CAC

The Child Advocacy Center provides crisis intervention services for child abuse victims, child sexual abuse victims, drug endangered children, and the “Darkness to Light” Program that trains adults how to protect children from child sexual abuse. They also have support groups for child sexual abuse victims and groups for their non-offending parents and grandparents to assist with the healing process, too.
