Little Words Project to Open in Nashville
The woman-owned company sells handcrafted bracelets with inspirational words intended to uplift the wearer. In addition, the bracelet is meant to be passed on to someone else who may need it more. This pay-it-forward movement fosters an engaged and loyal community, including celebrities.
Little Words Project’s flagship store opened in Manhattan in 2021. Today, there are shops throughout the eastern United States in addition to Disney, Nordstrom and Target locations.
The friendship bracelet continues to be a leading fashion trend. Little Words Project is fulfilling its mission, according to the brand’s founder and CEO Adriana Carrig. Carrig was bullied when she was young and launched the brand as a way of helping herself and others.
“[With the bracelets], I wanted something to remind me every day that I was enough and that all women are enough,” Carrig told Forbes.com. “I started Little Words Project because I desperately wanted to do something that would fulfill my desire to help others while also making a difference in the world.”
Little Words Project is located at 5057 Broadway Place in Nashville. Store hours are Mon – Sat from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Book an appointment at the Nashville Bead Bar here for $35.
