If you love to bake (or like to pretend to know how), then come on out to Beginner's Cookie Class and learn how to make yummy, pretty cookies! It's also a great way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, too, as it takes place Sunday, May 5 from 2 – 5 p.m. This three-hour class with Sammie B's Sweets is open to ages 12 and older. It teaches you everything you need to know on baking and decorating your own delicious cookies. You'll learn recipes, how to cut dough, bake cookies, mix and color icing, and more. Everyone gets to decorate and take home a dozen cookies that you bake in class. You leave with a new skill you can use year round to make special treats for your friends and family!
Come alone or with some friends and reserve your spot online. Cost is $75 per person, which includes an instructional booklet with recipes and a dozen cookies that you will decorate in class and take home with you. This class theme is Cinco de Mayo and light refreshments are provided. Space is limited to 14 people. Your space is reserved once payment is made. It takes place at 212 Loxley Lane, Murfreesboro.
