Nashville Shores Water Park, located at Percy Priest Lake, opens for weekend operations on Saturday, May 10, and daily operations on Thursday, May 22, kicking off its 27th season.
Less than 10 miles from downtown, the resort features more than one million gallons of water, including 10 water slides and three pools in addition to lakeside activities like Banana Boat rides and the Aqua Park (an interactive playground on the lake featuring 40 interconnected elements).
The water park’s Lazy River is a favorite among parents eager to spend a relaxing day while the kids romp nearby. The park can also provide fully catered events for groups of 50 or more via their company picnics or reunion packages.

Special Events for 2025
- Firework Displays — In celebration of Memorial Day, Independence Day andLabor Day, Nashville Shores hosts firework displays over Percy Priest Lake. After an action-packed day of adventure at the park, guests are invited to relax with friends and family as they watch the fireworks reflect off the lake.
- Monday Matinee Movies — A special feature this June,Monday Matinee Movies are the perfect excursion for the whole family. Nashville Shores will show a different movie every Monday at 4:30 p.m.on its 25-foot-wide, 16-foot-tallLED screen at the wave pool.
- Feel Good Fridays/Dive-In Movies – Enjoy your favorite films while making a difference in the local community.On Fridays in July, Nashville Shores will show Dive-in Movies at the wave pool starting at 6 p.m. The films run in conjunction with Feel Good Fridays, an opportunity for the park to raise money for a local charitable organization.
- Mermaid Mondays – Every Monday in July, dive into mermaid magic at the waterpark. Guests will have the chance to meet real-life mermaids, pose for photos and enjoy mermaid games and prizes.
Nashville Shores Water Park
General admission to the water park for those 48 inches and taller are currently available online for $51.99 plus tax per person (regular price is $56.99 plus tax). Junior, senior and military tickets are $36.99 plus tax. After 4 p.m., a twilight tickets option is available for $34.99 plus tax. Children age 2 and younger are free. The parking fee is $15.
Season Passes are available at a GOLD ($69.99) or SILVER ($89.99) level and include distinctions for bring friends and more. Both options get you free fireworks and Dive-in Movie night admission.
