Where Every Family Matters

Nashville Symphony TONIGHT at Rock Castle

Take in a delightful evening of music on the lawn at Hendersonville's signature historic site.

The short-lived break from the rain in the local forecast comes at a most convenient time because this evening (Tuesday, June 11) marks the next installment in the Nashville Symphony's 2019 Community Concert Series. It's taking place at Historic Rock Castle, and admission is FREE.

Gates open at 5 p.m. — bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic basket! Prior to the concert, children can have fun exploring a variety of instruments with the Symphony's hands-on musical instrument petting zoo.

At 6:30 p.m., The Arcadian Wild will perform folk music prior to the Nashville Symphony taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Nashville Symphony Assistant Conductor/Principal Pops Conductor Enrico Lopez-Yanez leads the orchestra in a mix of classical and pops favorites, ending the performance with Michael Giacchino's theme from The Incredibles (selected as a result of votes in the recent fan Encore Bracket). In addition to the music, prize giveaways are part of the fun.

Historic Rock Castle is located at 139 Rock Castle Lane, Hendersonville.
