Where Every Family Matters

National Night Out Coming to Brentwood Aug. 13

Enjoy two bounce houses and hands-on displays from several different agencies from Brentwood and Nolensville.

Williamson County residents are invited to Brentwood’s Smith Park from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13 to get an up-close look at local public safety agencies during the City’s National Night Out celebration.

“We look forward to this event every year because we want to know and connect with the citizens we serve,” Brentwood Police Capt. Zach Hartman said.

The free, family-friendly event, hosted by the Brentwood and Nolensville police departments, will feature two bounce houses and hands-on displays from several different agencies. This year’s participants include:

  • Brentwood Police Department
  • Brentwood Fire and Rescue
  • Nolensville Police Department
  • Nolensville Fire Department
  • Williamson County Sheriff’s Office
  • Williamson County Emergency Management Agency
  • Williamson County EMS
  • Tennessee Highway Patrol

For 41 years, the National Night Out campaign has worked to build connections between communities and law enforcement agencies. Today, more than 38 million people in 17,000 communities participate in the annual event.

During the Aug. 13 celebration at Smith Park, visitors will meet Brentwood’s Tactical Team, bike patrol, traffic team and patrol officers. Other agencies will also bring equipment and personnel to engage with residents.
