The holiday season in Rutherford County wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Oaklands Mansion (900 N. Maney Avenue, Murfreesboro). Once again, the historical home is set to host a festive lineup of seasonal, family-friendly holiday events.
The Last Huzzah: Old-Time Baseball’s Farewell
Are you a baseball fan who loves tradition? Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 15, at 11 a.m., when Oaklands Park (427 Roberts St.) hosts the “Last Huzzah” old-time baseball exhibition.
Two lively teams will take the field, celebrating the spirit and sportsmanship of vintage baseball. It’s a chance to enjoy one last autumn game, share some laughs, and say goodbye to the warm weather with a little friendly competition.
