There’s been a change over at The Avenue Murfreesboro. Stores coming. Stores going. But, you'll love to know that Pottery Place opens its doors at a new spot. Its new location at The Avenue is Ste. 1765. Which is near Belk Department Store and Next Door to Massage Envy.
Pottery Place is a paint-your-own-pottery studio. It gives you a place to create art on premade pottery pieces. You pick the pottery of your choice. Then, choose whatever colors you want to paint with. Sit back. Relax. Have fun painting!
There’s a $6 studio fee per painter that covers the cost of all materials needed to create your piece. You also pay the cost of the pottery of your choice. And, don't worry if you can't finish that day. Pottery Place allows you to leave your piece with them and return another day for an extra $3 return painter fee.
Upon completion of your masterpiece, leave it them and return in five to seven days. It's during this time that they fire it in the kiln as the final step in the process. Then, all you do is come pick it back up.
More than Pottery
Pottery Place also offers glass fusion art, mosaics and ceramic fusion. Visit them online to learn more about each of those techniques and cost to do them.
It's also a great place for birthday parties! Kids love to decorate their own pottery piece and use their own creativity.
