Rink Under Broad Offers “Glice” Skating

Glide across a unique “glice” skating rink made from high-quality synthetic ice. Plus, pickleball courts, fire pits and more!

It’s the holiday season in Music City, and you can have some seasonal fun slipping and sliding on a new “glice” skating rink in downtown Nashville.

The new Nashville Yards Rink Under Broad offers a synthetic ice rink, as well as pickleball courts, food and drink vendors and a fire pit to keep warm. The “glice” rink is made from “high-quality synthetic ice” that offers the same thrill on artificial ice as on standard ice.

Located at the Ascension Saint Thomas Landing underneath Broadway (131 10th Ave. N), the ice skating rink was previously located on the rooftop of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The new location allows for more festivities, as well as the sporting opportunities.

If you want to take advantage of the rink, you’ll need to reserve a slot in advance. Weekday skating costs $10 per guest, while weekend rink time costs $15 per guest. All skating passes include rental skates, though guests are also welcome to bring their own.

For more information and to secure your spot on the rink, visit the Nashville Yards website here.
