Murfreesboro's Hospital Gets OB Updates
Saint Thomas Rutherford recently underwent a $1.5 million renovation project. The OB floor’s newly renovated rooms help to expand the hospital’s Women’s Care services. Sovana Moore, M.D., chief of obstetrics at Saint Thomas Rutherford, says these new renovations add three additional labor and delivery rooms. The hospital now has a total of 14 labor and delivery rooms, four recovery bays and two triage rooms. In addition to the new rooms, labor tubs are now available. The tubs, however, are only for use during the early phase of labor. The new tubs are also an all-new feature at the hospital. The hospital is located at 1700 Medical Center Pkwy., Murfreesboro.
