If your kids enjoy music, they are sure to love the temporary exhibit The Science of Music when it comes to the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring. It opens Saturday, June 8 and remains on exhibit through Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019.
Kids can learn surprising ways science and music connect. Feel the rhythm through the drums, find the pitch with the pipe organ and take the stage in this interactive exploration of sound while exploring the drum pad room, guitar kiosk and a performance stage. The exhibit comes with the center's general admission ($8 ages 3 and older, free for members and ages 2 and younger).

On Thursdays this summer, your family can visit The Discovery Center for $3 admission from 4 – 7 p.m. (except for July 4).
