Shave Your Head for Bald in the Boro

Dye your hair green or style it crazy! It's time for ladies and gents to shave it all off for the annual Bald in the Boro!

On Friday, March 15 from 4 – 8 p.m., people of all ages come to get a good shave for a great cause. Whether you're an adult or kid, you can get a buzz cut and show your support for children with cancer.

Bald in the Boro seeks volunteers for the annual event, too. If you do want a shave, join the team and help raise funds.

The charitable event helps raise money for kids with cancer and the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. According to the foundation, worldwide, 300,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. And in the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. The foundation, a volunteer and donor- powered charity, supports research to find cures for childhood cancers. It is the top private funder of childhood cancer research grants in the U.S. and around the world. St. Baldrick's has so far awarded more than $26.2 million in 2018. Learn more at stbaldricks.org.

Be a part of the hard work the foundation is doing. Donate or advocate. Participate in this year's Bald in the Boro. It takes place at Lanes, Trains and Automobiles (450 Butler Drive, Murfreesboro). Learn more or register online at baldintheboro.com.
