Where Every Family Matters

Spanish & English Classes in Murfreesboro

Whether it's Spanish or even English, there's a new place in town ready to help you learn a new language and mingle with others.

Something as simple as saying "Hi" or even asking a question to someone that doesn't speak the same language as you can be frustrating. However, you can change that with the help of Jasmine Moreno, owner of Future Language 101. She aims to help children and adults learn Spanish, and even English, so they can easily mingle with others.

"I’ve realized how much of a language barrier problem we have all around us and I want to start here," says Moreno. "For myself, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. Our mission is to help dedicated individuals with the basic learning of the Spanish and English language."

The goal is to develop, reinforce and refine communicative knowledge in speaking, listening, reading and writing. You'll focus on and understand pronunciations, handle verb conjugations, communicate what you learn and be able to use your knowledge for daily basis. You'll learn how to carry on a simple conversation. Lessons include:

  • How to Introduce Yourself
  • Alphabet
  • How to Hold a Conversation
  • Basic Pronunciations
  • Numbers 1 -100
  • Interrogatives
  • Possessive Adjectives
  • Culture

You choose which class you want to come to. Classes are held Tuesdays and/or Sundays from 3 – 5 p.m. or 6 – 8 p.m. So, you can pick what best fits your schedule. August enrollment is full, but signups are now open for September. Monthly class fee is $250 adults, $160 children. Participants receive all text book and materials, too.

To register, head to the office at 352 W. Northfield Blvd., Ste. E, Murfreesboro for an interview and tour of the facility. To learn more, call 615-410-1274 or e-mail futurelanguage101@gmail.com. Keep up with events and class offerings on Facebook.
