Teen Summer Film Camp
Filmmaking’s fun but it’s also a lot of work. To that end, teen campers will work in production teams to develop concepts, scripts, storyboards and production plans. Next, teams will shoot their film using professional gear provided by Contrast and edit them with Final Cut Pro. Finally, teen films will be screened during the Teens Take the Frist! event at the Frist Art Museum on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
The Teen Summer Film Camp camp runs July 8 – 12, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Additionally, teaching artist Dr. Sarah Childress (Education and Engagement Manager for the Nashville Film Festival) takes the helm along with producer Jennifer Bonoir. Lastly, the camp takes place at the Frist Art Museum, 919 Broadway in downtown Nashville.
Apply for the camp with a $50 application fee. Cost for the week is $475 for Frist Art Museum and Nashville Film Festival members/ $525 for non-members. Moreover, financial assistance is available and must be applied for by March 29. Learn more and register here.
