It’s happening — and you’re invited! After more than 30 years of imagination, artistry and heart, Ken Means’ Carousel of Dreams is ready to whirl into action! Nestled beside the Turner Theatre plaza beside the North Lot at The Factory at Franklin, this stunning, hand-carved carousel is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece — and a magical experience for all ages.
Hand-carved and painted Aslan, one of the animals on Ken Means’ Carousel of Dreams.
More Than Just a Ride
Crafted by renowned artist Ken Means and his wife, Betty, this whimsical wonder is a joyful blend of art and nostalgia. Each animal — carved and painted by hand — is a character in a menagerie of dreams, brought to life with the old-fashioned sounds of a vintage Wurlitzer band organ. Designed to be accessible for all ages and abilities, the carousel is a celebration of community, creativity and childhood joy.
Built With Love, Shared With Purpose
Since relocating to Tennessee in 2019, Ken Means has been working from his studio inside The Factory, turning vision into reality. The carousel is operated by The Circle of Giving, a local nonprofit, and proceeds will support Williamson County charities — so every ride gives back!
