This year’s show will feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angels as headliners, accompanied by the U.S. Air Force F-35 Demo Team, the Jack Aces Three Ship P-51 Demo and David Windmiller in his Extra 300 — all making their debuts at the Great Air Show.

Beyond the airborne performances, the event promises a deep dive into aviation history and innovation. Guests will have the opportunity to explore a range of static displays featuring military and civilian aircraft, helicopters, and possibly even ground support equipment. These exhibits provide a closer look at the incredible machines that have shaped aviation’s past and present.

The Smyrna community holds a special bond with the Blue Angels. This connection was forever marked by the tragic loss of Capt. Jeff Kuss, who perished in an F/A-18 jet crash near the Sam Davis Plantation on June 3, 2016. Honoring his legacy, an F/A-18 jet was donated to the town of Smyrna and now stands as a solemn tribute to Capt. Kuss and the Blue Angels’ enduring spirit.
