Two Strawberry Festivals to Attend on Saturday, May 14

Celebrate everything strawberry with two fun festivals for families.

Families can drive a little north of Nashville to Portland, TN for the 81st Annual Middle TN Strawberry Festival on Saturday, May 14! This year’s festival theme is “All Aboard the Strawberry Express.”

Kicking off the festival on Friday, May 13 will be the Strawberry Jam Concert & Fireworks! Live music & food vendors will start at 5 p.m. with “Resurrection – A Journey Tribute” headlining at 7 p.m. followed by fireworks at 8:30 p.m.

Friday night events are off E. Market Street in downtown Portland. The main festival day will be Saturday, May 14th Attendees will enjoy 175+ vendors, multiple music stages, kids area & magic stage and parade at 4 p.m. to end the day!

Strawberry Festival at Red Cedar Farms

Chapel Hill, TN

Who doesn’t enjoy a strawberry festival? Get ready for acres of fresh, organic strawberries along with lots of fun for all ages May 14 – 15 at Red Cedar Farms (2041 State Hwy 99, Chapel Hill). Visitors to the strawberry festival can mingle wit vendors, enjoy the petting zoo (with camels, kangaroos and more), hear live music, have fun in the Mega Fun Zone (including a rock wall, obstacle courses, Gellyball), dig into the strawberry short cake eating contests and more. 

Red Cedar Farms is a family-owned USDA certified organic farm that grows all kinds of produce. The farm provides Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) each year, summer through fall. A farm store on site at Red Cedar Farms sells produce, jams and other products from the Loveless Cafe, CBD products and more. Special events at the farm include The Great Easter Egg Hunt, Movie Night at the Farm, a Fall Festival and Santa visits during the holidays.

Tickets include a Family Five pack for five (ages 3+) for $60; a child ticket (ages 3 – 15) for $10; and adults (ages 16+) for $18. For a small additional fee, kids can enjoy pony and helicopter rides. Children under age 3 are free. Note: Gate fee on the day of the event will be higher than the online price.
