The Discovery Center celebrates its 38th birthday this month. There are special programs and events throughout March. The museum is located at 502 SE Broad St in Murfreesboro. Its hours are Tuesday – Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit explorethedc.org.

1. Tasty Tuesdays
Tuesdays, 4:00 PM
Join us every Tuesday at 4 PM for Tasty Tuesdays, where kitchen chemistry meets fun in our FRANKE Kitchen. Included with admission while supplies last. Programs are subject to change.

2. Turtle Talk

3. Discovery Design Time

4. Campfire Storytime

Pi Day
Friday, March 14th
Join us on Friday, March 14th, for a fun-filled DC+ Day dedicated to the mathematical magic of Pi! We’ll be making a delicious Pi Pie with the famous Oak Ridge Orchard Apple Pie, plus creating your very own Pi bracelet to take home! Throughout the day, learn all about Pi and its fascinating role in mathematics.

8. All Access Night

All Access Night at the Discovery Center is a sensory-friendly evening designed specifically for families with children who have special needs. Held monthly, this event offers exclusive access to the Discovery Center’s exhibits in a calm and welcoming environment. Children can explore, play, and engage in hands-on STEAM activities with smaller crowds and reduced sensory stimuli, making it an ideal opportunity for families to experience the museum at their own pace. Best of all, All Access Nights are free, but registration is required! Sponsored by SEC, Inc.
9. SPARK!
